Merry Christmas

We have had a fantastic pouring out of support in the last few days from CJ Pony Parts, Stangnet, and people who are psyched about the show. I am hoping that on Monday we will have some good news for all. Until then, have a joy filled, peaceful Christmas celebration. God bless!

Good day everyone. A little pre-Christmas update: 5500 views of the trailer. Nice work all who are spreading the news. Our latest help has come from Tampa Racing, Mustang Daily, Mustang Heaven, and (get this) Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain. Thanks for spreading the word all.

So here is thinking out loud: from everyone we have heard nothing but positive feedback about the idea for the show. The other day a guy comes in and says: that the show might not have the "drama" or "tension" for good TV.
I will be the first to admit we are not going to have a storyline every week that is a "do or die, gotta finish this build or else" theme. We will not have people fighting for the sake of fighting or should I say "entertainment". We will not have boxing ring installed so we can hash out our problems for the world to see, or fire people for the sake of it. However we will have some of the greatest cars from the Mustang world on here. And the story of the people who own them. We will show some great power and handling upgrades, how to restore parts correctly, racing, auctions (do's and dont's, and the excitement that goes with getting your dream car), the worlds best car shows (and what it takes to put one together), what it takes to develop a specialty Mustang and then market it. You will meet people from the Mustang press. Are you getting the theme? It's about you and your car. It's about what we do with the worlds greatest production automobile and the story that goes with it. From what I know about this little world in which I live everyday, the Mustang community is never boring. What do you think?

December 13, 2010

Good morning all. With your help the trailer hit 5200+ views! Nice job everyone.

Here's the status update: Discovery Channel sent us our Dear John letter. Here is what it said:
Thank you for your recent program submission to Discovery Channel. We appreciate not only the opportunity to review your proposal, but also your patience while the submission went through our review process.

Regretfully, we have to decline your submission. There is a great deal of value to your project. Unfortunately though, this proposal does not meet the current programming and inventory needs of the Discovery Channel. Please note all treatments/proposals have been discarded and tapes recycled.

Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to review the materials and for your continued interest in the Discovery Networks.

Sincerely,

Discovery Channel Program Development

We received a similar letter from HD network.

My dad says 'if it were easy, everyone would do it'. Agreed. So in the spirit of not giving up, we continue to shop to networks, have also gotten a few quotes on airtime, meeting with our entertainment attorney this week. He has some connections with producers, agents, networks. Lastly a meeting with a large prospective advertiser. Stay tuned for more info.

Thank all of you for your interest and support. Please continue to share with your like minded friends.
